please don't touch yourself, help us to try you out! Thanks!
So I work at a casting agency in Chicago now, and it is verrrry interesting. I love watching auditions and seeing who does well and why, and who totally whiffs and why. For my first commercial audition, I totally didn't get noticed, much less called back. For my second one, I totally got a callback but I didn't "book" the "gig" (get me! Ain't I a one with all the fancy lingo!). So for my third (when and if), I really want to make the money. But I can wait. A lot of the interns are like "put me in, coach!" but I'm there to learn. I'm sitting back and watching others that I love and respect as theatre actors make the mistakes that I would make as a potential tv/film actor, without evil or malice, of course, but definitely watching and learning what not to do. And conversely watching all the successful auditions and stealing like a damn bitch with an eye towards guaranteeing my own future success. MUHHOOHOOHAAAAAAAA! (this is an evil laugh, expressed phonetically).
I am also LOVING dance class. I think I need to be doing the flamenco thing seriously this year. I LOVE it. And I'm actually sort of good at it, which totally amazes me.
Let's see... having a car in the city is SUCH A TOTAL PAIN IN THE ASS. I'm trying to figure out whether it's better to just sell it and get a rental when I need a car. I HATE the expense of it. Especially on my budget. Which is nothing, no money, none at all, nothing, I'm SOOOO POOOOOR.
