happiness is sure to find you!

Talk about thankful Thursday! I am thankful for so many things. I just spent the day with my mommy and had SUCH a good time cooking and eating and talking and all that. She is feeling really good and looking really healthy and I think everything's going to be o.k. And I made a Tourtiere on the fly and it came out SO GOOD, it was CRAZY.

I am also thankful for Yerma, for the experience of it because I learned so much, and for it being all done because even when it's the best show ever, it's still fun to be done.

Hmmm... what else?
I'm thankful that so many of my friends came to see Yerma. I was so touched by that. There were road trips taken for just to see the cat! That's amazing. Cats is weally yucky. I even had a student come on the last weekend, a young man who was in my acting class last year! And he loved it, which was crazy. Didn't like Jacques, loved Yerma. Did he learn anything from me?

Still love the el. And I love living right by it and hearing it at night. It's not loud enough to be intrusive, it's just loud enough to be nice.

I love that I can get some hours in at work tomorrow so I won't be totally poor this month.

I love that I'm understudying and that I got a compliment on my Popular London (I have to say it is really darn good stuff. I knew I was addicted to Britcoms for a reason).

I love my red blankets on my bed. I think they attract positive vibrations.

I love my family members, immediate and extended. I love that I really seem to come from somewhere. I was talking to my cousin the other day (he lives in Chicago now) and I was like, wow. I share so many characteristics with this person and we grew up a thousand miles apart. I just love the feeling of my identity being so rooted in this family structure that is popping up around me (because I never had that growing up, it was just me and my sister and my parents).

I am thankful for a lot more things that I just can't think of right at this minute. But believe me, I'm thankful!
Meee-YOW!
