I LOVE living in CHICAGO! It's so much FUN! I take the train everywhere. I LOVE it! I love watching out the window, seeing all the little porches go by, and at night the windows are all glowy and happy. I love that I don't have to drive, I just have to be on time for a train and then pay attention so that I don't miss my stop.

My neighborhood is really cutie! I live in Ravenswood, right off of Montrose, so I'm close to everything but not so close that it's noisy. I'm a block and a half away from the el stop, and at night all I hear is a shusshing sound as it passes by. And sometimes a ding-dong sound that the cars make to let you know the doors are closing.

I'm in love with Trader Joe's, because they have all my weirdo food for really cheap. Blocks of organic Tofu for 99 cents. Bags of organic broccoli for two dollars. Bottles of red wine that does not give me headaches for 2.99 each. And lots of chocolates of all kinds! It's like the New Pi, but non-yuppies can also show there. So happy is this cat!

And I found a job! I am working at a call center, which of course that's poopie, but I only do it for 4 hours a day and I make enough to pay all my bills! Isn't that extraordinary?! And it's in the Merchandise Mart, which is right off of the brown line, so it's easy to get to. Mao!

And my show is being very well received! I'm in Yerma, the Lorca tragedy, which is weird for me, because I'm always the comedy cat, but people really like it and we got the backwards R from the Chicago Reader. They even mentioned the cat, which was nice!

Also, I got a lot of new fwens. And some old ones live here already, so I got dem too. So I jus weally happy wight now! And I can't wait to see my bessest fwens fwum Iowa! Dey my bessest!
