Don't throw the yo-yo at people
My friend Rian and I were walking down College Street on the way to Lou Henri a few days ago when we espied FOUR squad cars surrounding the big white house on the southeast corner of Dodge and Lucas. A police officer had a gun trained on the front door of the house, and was sheilding her body with the front door of the car. Another cop was standing off the side of the house and another was tramping around in the bushes. For some reason, we were allowed to walk right by this... no one said anything along the lines of 'ladies, please cross to the other side of the street' or anything. As we were walking by Rian said, I wonder what's going on. I said, I hear there's a drug dealer that lives there, but I heard he already got busted. She said, yeah I heard that too. Then she said, maybe they've come to get his dog. And I said, huh? And she said, yeah, man! They leave that dog chained on that patio night and day! I don't think he even has enough water! I said, well, I don't know why they would need four squad cars and firearms to come and get a labrador retriever. She said, I don't know, man. Could be.
And I suppose she's right. It could be.
