daddy was a street corner
And did I mention there's going to be FIREWORKS? And a drum circle on the porch??? And my friend Steve can juggle fire, I'm going to ask him to come, too. Oh, this is going to be so EXCITING!
So today we had a line thru for Sylvia out at LAKE MACBRIDE! On a PONTOON BOAT! It was SO much fun. And David MacGraw, who is the stage manager extraordinaire, brought his new baby Paul who is the cutest, most interesting baby I've met in ages. Not that most babies aren't terribly cute and interesting, but Paul was born with a full head of really dark, straight hair. And he has this very serious, focused expression. He looks like a tiny Bud Cort. And he's only four months old! He's just a little boodle pie!
O.K. so it's opening night for Sylvia. Which is great, because this is a really fun play and I'm really looking forward to see how audiences respond to it, but also, this means that I'll be done rehearsing for the rest of the summer! My JOB is that I perform in shows in the evenings. For this I get paid. What kind of a responsible 30-year-old woman am I? I'll tell you what kind! NO KIND!
